Simply Natural is a cream deodorant made without added scent. The maker lists six ingredients: organic virgin coconut oil, magnesium hydroxide, organic tapioca flour, organic virgin shea butter, organic beeswax and organic jojoba oil. It contains no baking soda and, per the maker, no added essential oils or fragrance, only the faint natural aroma of the plant ingredients.
The product page states "Certified Organic by the USDA". The maker says magnesium hydroxide is a gentler alternative to baking soda that tends to work more gradually, and notes that cream deodorants should not be left in hot mailboxes or on sunny porches.
You scoop out a pea-sized amount and massage it in with your fingers; the maker also sells a reusable bamboo spatula. We have not yet checked the USDA Organic Integrity database for the certification.
